About Us
There has been much research published in recent times about “Climate Change”. It has been acknowledged that areas that are feeling the effects first and in the most extreme nature are those countries already affected by extreme weather conditions. One such place is Uganda. DRIP was formed with the aim of combating the effects of climate change, namely, reduced food security in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Uganda.
We are a wholly volunteer run charity, we run a lean organisation with minimal overheads. We welcome volunteers who can help in the UK support as well as in the field - if you have a skill we can probably use it. We're always happy to welcome new volunteers who would like to dedicate some of their time to charity. If you'd like to lend a hand, please don't hesitate to contact us, new members are always welcome.
